Our biggest fundraising campaign to date is this one!!  'May'ke A Million In May' - we are asking everyone in Yorkshire to come together during the month of May to fundraise to raise £1 million pound to build Smile Cottage in Yorkshire - a place where families can go and spend some quality time and build Happy memories when they are faced with the news that their child has a chronic, life threatening or terminal illness.

Bethany Hare (Founder of Bethany's Smile) spoke to staff who work in the Children's Cancer unit at the Leeds General Infirmary to ask what was needed and not readily available for families with very poorly children. She was told that they really needed somewhere to go and get away from it all, to come to terms with the news, to bond and spend precious time together - that's when the idea for Smile Cottage was born.

Obviously £1million pound is a heck of an amount for a 14 year old girl to raise on her own so she decided to launch the May'ke A Million in May campaign and to ask the people of Yorkshire to join her in this huge task. Once the finance is raised, Bethany wants to be able to say that Smile Cottage was built in Yorkshire, for Yorkshire families and with funds raised by the whole of the Yorkshire community coming together as one to May'ke It Happen!!
