The Mecca Re-comm team consisting of  Becky Reeves, Dave McLean, John Dyson, Kieran Simmonds, Mark Henderson, Mike Cleary, Mike Sime, Mohammed Zabed, Stuart Booth, Stuart Colthart, Tony Lister,  headed up by Kevin Allcock are walking 10 miles around Lake Windermere to raise money for Rank Cares.

Rank is proud to be working in partnership with Carers Trust, the UK’s largest charity for carers.  Carers Trust works to improve support, services and recognition for anyone living with the challenges of caring, unpaid for a family member or friend. With over 170 Network Partners including care schemes and carers centres they aim to ensure that information, advice and practical support are available to all carers across the UK.

Dedicated Rank Cares grant funds have been set up to support carers across the UK:

Essentials  Fund – providing basic household equipment to carers who are experiencing financial hardship

Inspire to Be Fund – enabling carers to gain new skills

Take a Break Fund – giving carers time out from their caring role to relax and recharge their batteries.
