The Zikomo Trust is a registered charity which provides grants and funding for educational and social projects in Malawi aimed at helping the most vulnerable in society, orphans and the elderly. The trust awards educational scholarships for orphans and a daily meal for over 100 at Malama Feeding centre in the Thyolo district.

I will be travelling to Malawi and working there for a month in July 2015 with the trip being funded by my mum. We do want to raise money which will be used directly to help the orphans and elderly in the meantime. I aim to do this through a variety of fund raising projects from bun sales, packing in supermarkets through to using the profits from a business I have established as part of the LEAP enterprise.

£10 can feed an orphan for a year. Why not do that rather than send Christmas cards?
