Story
...the 1 in 4 that included my niece, Sarah. Sarah appeared to her friends and family as a busy, happy, healthy and successful girl - full of life. A hardworking, compassionate and highly respected nurse, Sarah sadly and inexplicably took her own life. We will never know what her thoughts were when she made the decision - but whatever they were, Sarah had seemingly come to the overwhelming conclusion that this was the only way.
I would like to help the many people who may be in a similar position, who may feel helpless, isolated, misunderstood, feel that things won't get better and don't know if they want to live or die...
So, I am excited to be able to say that as I have qualified for the 2016 Boston Marathon, I will be running the marathon in memory of Sarah.
Please help me to help the many others like Sarah before it is too late - by donating on this page. Donations will be sent directly to Mind Guernsey, saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thank you so much for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
