A (Grenadier) Company, 1 Mercian, are currently deployed to the South Atlantic, some 8000 miles from our Battalion home in Bulford, Wiltshire. As part of our fundraising drive for The Mercian Benevolent Charity each A Company Soldier will be running, cycling, swimming and/or rowing more than 60 miles over the course of our deployment, covering the complete distance to Picton Barracks.

Weekly progress reports will be published to this page to let everyone know how far we have progressed. All proceeds will go to The Mercian Benevolent Charity who help both serving soldiers and veterans of the Mercian Regiment and its antecedent Regiments.
