I first became involved with Haswell & District Mencap Society 6 years ago when I was asked to assist with the bookkeeping for a few weeks.

6 years later I am still involved with an amazing charitable organisation which is an important focal point for the local community.

Jean, Hayley and their team work tirelessly to provide various activities for the trainees who attend the Lisa Dixon Centre.

In common with many other charities fundraising is an ongoing problem so I just thought that I would like to do my bit to help.
