Story
In March of last year the community of Liverpool, Southport
and beyond, lost a treasure that cannot be replaced. Dot Dorian was that treasure, a woman of great stature, friendship and warmth. Dot was a staunch member of the ‘mustn’t grumble generation’ and, despite her own difficulties, her smile was wider than Morecombe Bay.
During her latter years she spent a considerable period of
time attending the Cancer Care, Medical Day Unit at Southport Hospital for treatment. She was always treated with respect and compassion. In fact, her treatment at the MDU was all you could ask for. The dedication of the staff is second to none. Your donation will provide additional support for future patients of this important unit.
