Hello - thanks for visiting my sponsorship page. I’m attempting the VF Big Bold Challenge on 6th October - a 50km cycle, 10km run and ascent of 1,000 steps inside a football stadium.

All of the money that I raise will be going to the Winchester Samaritans. I've chosen this charity, to support the incredible work that they and their fantastic volunteers do.  It is also a charity a good family friend – who sadly passed away five years ago - was heavily involved in and cared a lot about.  Every year, the Winchester Branch helps over 44,000 contacts, some considering suicide and needing emotional support. This sounds a lot, but could still be more, considering that there is one death from suicide every 4 hours across the UK and Ireland. I’m aiming to raise money for Samaritans to help reduce this number. Please help me to reach my target of £350 – this would help keep the Winchester branch available to support as many callers as possible.
