In honour of a great friend, who I'm sure is up there laughing his head off at the pain I'm going through with this challenge, myself a team of 7 have decided to take on the Solent Marathon Challenge on the 9th Sept. This involves rowing for 26 miles, non stop, from the Needles to Portsmouth. It's not for the faint hearted and is a challenge worthy of Adrian.
Adrian passed away from cancer that he didn't even know he had until it was all too late. He fought a good fight but sadly left behind his two beautiful daughters, Chloe and Jodie, as well as his amazingly strong wife Anna.
The Garden House Hospice cared for Adrian and his family during those final moments and rely solely on charitable donations. Our goal is to enable them to continue that good work.
