We raise funds and awareness to support those affected by Vascular EDS.

Story

Hi all I know you all probably think I'm a nuisance asking for your money again after all ready doing an event this year but I had the recent pleasure of meeting a lovely family Sarah & Jared griffin & there daughter Annabelle who has vascular eds .

Vascular EDS is a life threatening connective tissue disorder that affects all tissues, arteries and internal organs making them extremely fragile. Patients are at risk of sudden arterial or organ rupture. Vascular EDS (previously known as EDS Type IV) is a rare type of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome caused by an alteration, also known as a mutation in the COL3A1 gene.

Sarah & Jared started a charity called Annabelles challenge The aim of Annabelle's Challenge is to raise awareness, support patients and families affected by vascular EDS and to encourage the medical profession to progress further with research into finding a
Cure.

I had planned on running the Manchester 10k for myself this year but it makes sense to raise awareness to vascular eds & raise what I can for Annabelles challenge so they can continue supporting families & raising awareness to vascular eds

Please please donate whatever you can

Thank you
