Story
My Dad and I will be doing a charity cycle this summer along with a group of other people on behalf of Co-operation Ireland and the IRFU Charitable Trust. The cycle is starting in Belfast on the 23rd May where we will cycle to Dublin and take in the 1916-2016 100 year commemoration of the Easter Rising in Dublin. Then we will be travelling to Belgium where we will be cycling our way through to Northern France. As we go a long we will be visiting the battlefields and memorials of Flanders in the Somme region. Altogether we are cycling 450k over a 7 day period. This cycle is to raise money for the IRFU Charitable Trust and Co-operation Ireland. The IRFU Charitable Trust helps to take care of young rugby players who are unfortunate to sustain serious injuries. Co-operation Ireland is a peace building organisation. They devote their time to trying to undo the damage caused by conflict and try and improve relationships on this island. Both are great charities and it would be amazing if you could help us reach our target. My Dad spending a week with me deserves sponsorship for that alone and me spending a week with my Dad deserves at least a medal. Any donation is greatly appreciated and as my Dad and I are covering the actual costs of the trip. Every penny donated will go to the charities. Many thanks!!
