I am a trustee at Jeevika Trust - a small but mighty charity focused on supporting women's livelihood in rural India.

Jeevika Trust works with women in some of south India's most water-deprived communities. 

I'm putting my boots on for Jeevika's annual Walking for Water event, along the River Thames on Sunday 16 Oct. 

It'll help us support villagers to rebuild reservoirs - and build rainwater harvesting tools - in their own communities in Tamil Nadu. It will help people avoid long and dangerous journeys carrying heavy pots of water for several miles.
