Story
Welcome to the Strode Park Foundation Hydrotherapy Appeal Page.
We have just launched an exciting new project to build an extension on to the back of Strode Park House which will house an aqua therapy pool and treatment area which will also in turn improve access for wheelchair users within the main house who currently have to negotiate a narrow corridor on an incline.
This project will provide an amazing opportunity for our residents and clients to enjoy the benefits that swimming and being in the water can bring. The pool will have all the latest technology and with an underwater treadmill and current will provide excellent exercise opportunities for those who cannot take part in land based activities.
The building will have an electronic hoist system in place to assist clients to get in and out of the pool in comfort and safety. Many of our residents would not be able to use a public swimming pool due to the complexity of their illness and our new facilities will benefit over 200 children and adults with disabilities.
The Foundation does not have any spare funds to support this project which will benefit so many so please donate and fundraise to help us acheive our goal - we can't do it without you. Thank you
