Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My beautiful sister, aged just 36yrs old was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) in the past year.

BPD affects 1 in 100 people and causes such terrible feelings and emotions that make it almost impossible to cope with everyday life.

80% of people with this illness will experience suicidal thoughts, 10% will complete suicide, that's 1 in 10 people! Unthinkable!

Sadly, my sister decided that she could no longer live a life on this earth. As devastated as we all are as a family we are determined to raise awareness of mental health, raise awareness of BPD and raise money for the charity as they so need it. Not enough is provided for the mental health service charities, we would like to help with that.

My family and I are seeking the bereaved by suicide counselling through MIND. God knows we need this service and the Leeds Mind is the only one in the UK to offer it.

Please help to support the charity.
