If someone had told me a year ago that I would be entering a 10k race I would have laughed out loud! But I took up running with my friends Linda and Sue and we went from couch to 5k in 8 weeks. A year on we still run together weekly and fellow runners have encouraged us to enter a race. So here it is I've done it! Derby 10k on 1st April 2012 and  if that wasn't brave enough, I've even managed to persuade Paul to dig out his trainers and join me!!!

We have chosen to support our local charity ' sightsupport derbyshire'.

Please sponsor us so that we can keep motivated and focussed in our training in the knowledge that it's too late to back out now!
