Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and hopefully donate!

Never one to back down from a challenge, this is it! I will be running the Paris marathon on 3rd April '16 and then the Virgin London Marathon on 24th April'16, (just three weeks later). I  was lucky enough to be offered one of only five places that Tourettes Action has for the London Marathon. This event provides their largest source of donations in the year so I wanted to help them raise as much as possible, particularly by running both. It is an incredibly valuable charity that works hard to improve the lives of those suffering from Tourettes Syndrome. Being a genetic disorder it is frequently diagnosed in young children, some as young as five. Tourettes Action can provide the support that many of these families need, as well as funding research for this little known disease. I have run a couple of marathons previously so I'm hoping this will put me in good stead. These two will be far the biggest and most challenging. Please help me to make it count!

Our vision is a world where people with Tourette Syndrome (TS) receive the practical support and social acceptance they need to help them live their lives to the full. We help people with TS to be included in education, at work and in society, throughout their lives. We also support research to improve their quality of life.
