As you may know Mishcon has taken up the challenge to raise the £42,000 needed to build a girls' dormitory at Lewa's secondary school in Ngare Ndare, Kenya.

Currently the girls travel long distances to get to school through an often unstable area that put them at risk of rape, kidnapping and coercion in to marriage.  To stay safe many of the students pay for accommodation closer to the school and therefore spend evenings and weekends earning money rather than studying for their exams.  Some of these living situations are themselves unsafe. The school is trying to change this by building the dormitory and Mishcon is fundraising to support them.

The trainees have been challenged by the firm to raise £10,000 between September 2015 to August 2016.  We thank you for your generosity and support.
