Story

Hi My name is Sarah, and I would just like to say thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As many of you, now know, (for those that don't, I'm truly sorry if this comes as a bit of a shock but I couldn't get round to everyone)

I have cancer and am three weeks into Chemo treatment.. I can assure you all that I am fighting this with everything I have, and in my heels too, lol!!! (With any luck a very special pair soon :-) )

Without the support of my beautiful and fantastic family and some pretty amazing friends, I'm not sure I could do this, so huge, HUGE thank you to you all ♥ ....You know who you are!! :-)

Ok so enough of the sentimental rubbish, as my dad would say! :-)

Due to the chemo treatment my hair is now falling out (really hope it never grows back on my legs lol!!) So I have decided to adopt the Sinead O'Connor look, which my wonderful boyfriend (and my rock!) assures me will be very sexy!!

So instead of just letting my long locks fall out, I am going to do what I do best ,and try and help a very worthy cause thats very close to my heart...

On Saturday the 25th of January 2014, I am going to put ALL my trust into my boyfriend, and give him a set of clippers (I just hope he's better with them, than he was with my SDS drill!!!) and will be joining him with the bald look (Ian is also going to have a matching hair do by shaving his locks off on the same day :-) )

Many of you that know me, know of my love for animals,  specifically horses, and will be aware that I have been involved with the Racehorse Rescue Centre charity for a while now, which are in desperate need of funds to help them to continue the fantastic work they do (Links below to their sites, you can also find my volenteer page on facebook) I am still hopeful that one day I might be able to at least meet, if not give, 'Peak' a very special boy, a forever home. (Nigel and Karen I'm so sorry I have been unable to advise you of this before hand. )

I would really appreciate your support by way of donation for The RRC if you are able. I do fully understand that some of you will not be in a position to help financially, however you CAN still help by sharing this and my Facebook event link with your friends and family.

Just Giving also make it very easy to donate via text (SMS) you can donate any amount between £1 and  £10 by texting the word ZAPP48 followed by your donation amount (Eg: ZAPP48 £10) and send to 70070
