We help active and retired fishermen in UK to receive emergency help

Story

Minster FM and Mr C's Traditional Fish and Chips, Selby have teamed up to raise money for a charity close to our hearts- the Fisherman's Mission, who offer help to all fisherman, active or retired, and their families.

We've persuaded Minster FM's DJ Paul Spence to sit in a bath filled with batter at Mr C's Fish and Chip shop- and we're not letting him out until we have raised our donation target of £500!!

Coincidentally, Paul is affectionately known as 'Chip Shop Paul' or 'Chippy' by everyone at Minster for having worked in a chippy for a number of years before he started working at Minster- so Paul should feel quite at home in the bath of batter!

Minster FM and Mr C's are proud to support the Fisherman's Mission, because without all the lovely fishermen out there working long, difficult periods out at sea, Mr C's would be out of business, and the fine British delicacy of Fish and Chips would be no more!
