On 29th March 2016, my mum, Agnes Lamont, sadly lost her long battle with cervical cancer at the age of 41.
In memory of my mum I will be participating in a Great Wall of China Trek for the Ayrshire Hospice on 21st October 2016. This date just so happens to be my mums birthday so it feels right that I take part.
My mum was a loving, caring person who always helped people. I was touched with how the hospice went completely out of their way to provide and care for my mum and all of the family in our time there.
