We are doing a sponsored climb up Snowdon on Easter Saturday 7th April 2012 in memory of our daughter Andrea Watton. We are climbing up the same route Andrea took us back in April 2009 following the miners trail to Llanberis through all the beautiful welsh mountains.
Andrea was studying for a Sports Science Degree ODA at Bangor University in North Wales. We lost our precious daughter in a tragic accident in August 2010 whilst she was with fellow university students doing her final research expedition in Switzerland.
Andrea was a beautiful, fun loving, very generous adventurous young lady who gave us millions of memories that will stay with us forever. She had a great sense of humour and is famous for her funny quotes and sayings. We are very proud in having shared 21 very memorable years with her and have admired everything she did.
Andrea was a very inspiring young 21 year old, who always lived her life to the full. As a family we always supported Andrea in all she did and aloud her to follow her dreams and her passion for the outdoors. After leaving Burgate Sixth Form in July 2007 Andrea decided to take a gap year from education and do some travelling to New Zealand and Australia before she started University. She had a wonderful time and experienced amazing adventures and memories which we will always treasure forever.
No one can ever prepare them selves for losing a family member and losing our loving daughter in this way has been a very painful and unbearable at times. We have millions of very special happy memories of Andrea and she will always be in our hearts with us forever. With the support of our family and friends we will continue to live our lives to the full just as Andrea would want us too.
We are now fundraising in memory of Andrea to help others. Please support us and sponsor us for this very special event all the proceeds with be donated towards Mountain Rescue UK a charity that we know Andrea would have wanted us to help.
Thank you for all your support.
