We are running the half marathon in memory of our late colleague and friend, Douglas Edwardson (Head of Housing, Aberdeenshire Council) who was killed in a road traffic accident just before Christmas last year.
Douglas was a caring man and worked tirelessly in his profession and equally outside of work to further causes he believed in.
Social Bite was one of his favourite charities and we feel we'd like to continue his good works and contribute in some way to this great cause.
