Sadly I had to reschedule my abseil planned for 23rd May and then July - I will now brave the Tower on Saturday 19th September 2015, 9:30am!!

On Saturday 23rd May I will be abseiling down the National Lift Tower in Northampton, the distinctive landmark that can be seen across Northampton.
At a height of 418 feet (127m) this will be a daunting experience and will involve me dangling mid-air exposed to whatever weather the day decides to throw at me.
I have decided to undertake this challenge and descend the former industrial tower to raise funds and awareness for Northamptonshire Association for the Blind. As a partially sighted person myself, the local charity have helped me so much and I wanted to give something back. I am terrified of heights but I think you only live once so, I might be mad, but I’m going to give it a go!
