Streets of Growth (SOG) are North Highland’s chosen charity of the year for 2016.

SOG help young people from the toughest estates in Tower Hamlets (East London) make positive changes in their lives and communities. Founded on strong desire to make change from witnessing the challenges and young people from poorer backgrounds can get caught up in when struggling to transition between youth-hood, the street, school, employment and into adulthood. 

SOG have a hands on approach and build long term relationships with young people. They support young people to develop their own social initiatives that contribute to community regeneration of Tower Hamlets. Through Street School & Enterprise and Social Challenges – they have older residents that they help with their shopping, gardening, etc. They also help to up-cycle pieces of furniture.
