We protect marginalised children in Nepal to help all children to escape hardship

Story

Namaste has been supporting The Esther Benjamins Trust for many years.  Over the last 15 years, the Trust has worked relentlessly to support Nepal's most vulnerable children, rescuing trafficked underage Nepali children in slave labour in Indian Circuses, imprisoned in Nepali jails and street children.  They have returned hundreds of children to their home communities in Nepal as well as shutting down major trafficking routes and persecuting and imprisoning 14 trafficking agents.  Over 200 children who are unable to be returned home have been brought into their refuge and given safety, care & education.

The trust is now working very hard to help reunite these trafficked children with their families and desperately needs funds to help with this.  They need £4600 to pay for a Reunification Worker.  We've kickstarted the project by donating £500 and hope to raise another £2000 in Fairtrade Fortnight.  This leaves a shortfall of £2000.

Donations of any size would be hugely appreciated.
