We present Shakespeare in schools to inspire a life long love of theatre

Story

This year I am running the Brighton Marathon for The Globe Players. For those of you who don't know about this charity, it is a company taking live theatre, particularly Shakespeare into schools. These days increasing austerity is making it harder for schools to afford additional activities like this, so extra funding needs to be found elsewhere.  This year marks 50 years of The Globe Players, and 400 years since Shakespeare's death, so we are aiming to mark the occasion by raising money to make sure children continue to get the chance to be inspired by live theatre.

Have a look at The Globe Players page for more details - https://www.justgiving.com/theglobeplayers.

Last year I did the London Marathon in 5 hours 3 minutes. I want to get 4.30 this year...

Thanks for taking the time to look at my page, and for your kind donation.

The Globe Players inspire young minds through high quality professional theatre in schools. They rely on external funding to subsidize productions of the highest quality every year for thousands of children regardless of economic background. For many this is their only experience of live theatre.
