Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In April 2012, when 23 weeks pregnant, I had a craniotomy to remove a tangerine sized growth in my brain. A few days after surgery, this was diagnosed as an isolated cavernoma i.e. non-cancerous and not hereditary. Harry was later born at full term, absolutely fine and very handsome!
As part of my recovery, I am keen to raise money to help others. Cavernoma Alliance UK seeks to improve the lives of those affected by cavernomas.
The section of the Anglesey coastal path that we are walking is from Llyn Rhos-ddu (close-ish to Llandwyn Island) to Trearddur Bay. These are places special to me and to many of my friends and family.
Huge thanks to my friend, Kirsty, who has encouraged me to take on this challenge and who is accompanying me on the walk.
