Spires is a very small charity based in Streatham that helps hundreds of homeless and disadvantaged people. It aims to improve the quality of life of people who are homeless, insecurely housed, unemployed or suffering from the effects of poverty, mental ill health and loneliness. It delivers a range of services such as a drop-in for rough sleepers and vulnerable women as well as adult literacy, music, art and ESOL classes.
