Story
In 2011, after living on this planet for approximately 7 million years, the West African Black Rhino, a subspecies of Black Rhino, was officially declared extinct. Its extinction was directly linked to uncontrolled poaching.
Rhinos as a distinct species evolved approximately 50 million years ago but are now listed as being critically endangered with 2 subspecies already extinct and several more not far behind.
Do you want our “Big Five” to become the “Big Four”? I don't, but without serious action this is exactly what will happen.
We have a real chance of making a significant difference in the fight for the survival of Rhinos.
A poached Rhino doesn’t have to be a dead Rhino.
I am riding this year’s 94.7 Cycle Challenge to raise funds for this incredible NGO - Saving the Survivor's.
By donating to my fundraising effort you will be playing a small but significant part in ensuring that Rhinos have a fighting chance at survival.
