Story
On the 23rd of August, we are making a splash at the ZSL's Swim for Wildlife at Brockwell Lido, raising funds to support ZSL's crucially important work to protect marine and freshwater species and their habitats.
To support these incredible projects, we will be swimming a combined 5,000m in a possible 12 degrees Celsius to raise money for aquatic animals, contributing towards the conservation of the delicate and under-threat ecosystems in which they live. Aquatic ecosystems cover 70% of the earth's surface and are crucial to supporting life on our planet. You can learn more about ZSL's work to protect these species and ecosystems at www.zsl.org.
As a Patron or Fellow of the Zoological Society of London, you may have met us at the Zoo, seen us at an event or spoken to us over the phone and we would love your support to help us complete this difficult challenge, raising vital funds for a range of incredibly important marine and freshwater species.
We are both so passionate about the work that ZSL does both here and around the globe and we are excited that, with your help, we can contribute towards the work of ZSL's keepers, conservationists and scientists who have dedicated themselves to conserving aquatic species.
Please do ask us any questions about the challenge or about supporting us! You can learn more about ZSL's Swim for Wildlife at www.zsl.org/whats-on/zsl-swim-for-wildlife.
Thank you!
