Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My wife's Uncle the Rev Andrew McCabe started a christian boys home in north India over 50 years ago and is still running things today even at 90 years of age. These boys are all rescued and have nothing when they come to stay there and are given shelter, clothes and an education. Many have gone on to great things in later life that would never have happened otherwise. I am planning to go over for 3 weeks and stay at the home and school and help in whatever way I can as well as experiencing real rural life in india away from the tourist areas. I am taking over toys for the boys but I hope to raise money that can be spent on shoes and jumpers for the boys as this area gets very cold in the winter months. Anything you give would be greatly appreciated.

thanks

George

Here is a link to the home and you can see for yourself how appreciative these boys are for getting a second chance.
