Whilst on a tour of America and Canada, Mensi and myself held a weigh off, the result of which proved that I was the fattest b*****d in the Angelic Upstarts. After first betting and shaking hands on a £200 wager, that we would be lighter than each other, we agreed to hold another weigh off, on August 30th 2014, live onstage at the North East Calling Festival in Newcastle. Having made the bet and took on the challenge, I also stated that if I won I would donate my winnings to Stray Aid.
Stray Aid is a charity in Coxhoe, Durham and it is where I got my three dogs from. They do a really good job at providing love and care to stray dogs (and cats) but they rely on donations to keep their good work going. So as well as donating my winnings, I thought it would be good to raise as much as I could to support Stray Aid. Please help me in my fund raising by donating as much as you can.
