On the 29th of June, 16 of us will be abseiling down the Spinnaker Tower in memory of our close friend Jon Hankey who was cruelly taken from us so early. Jon was a legend and touched so many people in a way only he could. He lit up rooms with his personality wherever he went and was a character everyone loved and looked to for brightening up even the dullest of occasions!! There was never a dull moment when he was around, always up for a laugh and always lived life to the full. He is sorely missed by everyone who knew him, especially the love of his life Claire, his brother Alan and family, and all who were close to him.

Jon was a former Royal Marine Commando and fiercely proud of it, so we thought it fitting that we should raise money for this fantastic charity that helps injured Royal Marines and supporting arms, as he himself championed many military charities especially ones for 'Bootnecks'.
