Last year my cousin Adam and his partner Kathryn were expecting their first child.  Daisy was born 13 weeks early weighing 1.8 lbs.  If it wasn't for the support of the Starlight Children's Specialist Unit at Homerton Hospital in Hackney then it is unthinkable to think what may have happened.  I still believe it is a miracle that Daisy survived and as her 1st birthday approaches her courage and fighting spirit over the first few months of her life were incredible.
