Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Hi guys 😊
A few months ago my sister Michelle and I attended a paediatric first aid course which was provided by 'Brightest Star' charity - which predominately supports bereaved families. The story behind the charity really touched us both, particularly because we now have wee Dominic and Joseph in the family, so we decided that we would like to do some sort of fundraising for them and help raise awareness of their charity.
After discussing it with a few friends we decided that we would hold a charity night. My friend Pamela holds a coffee morning each year for a cancer charity so we thought it would be a good idea to team up and have two beneficiaries on the night.
The other charity is the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice who also provided invaluable care and support to another friend's family when they sadly lost their mum, Marie, last year. Her daughter-in-law, Joanne, who has previously raised funds for this charity, is also coming on board to help with the organising and running of the night. Thank you! 😊
Our night will be held on Friday 14th August 2015, in the Glencairn venue, Glasgow Road. Tickets are £5 each. We would love you to come along and help support our charities, and if anyone could do anything at all to help us with raffle prizes etc we would be so grateful.
Thanks so much in advance. ❤️
Nichola, Michelle, Pamela & Joanne.
