Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have been involved with Greenock Morton Community Trust from its inception and throughout I have been fully committed to its aims and objectives.  As well as delivering coaching to over 1,000 Inverclyde kids per week through highly qualified coaches, we are also engaged in employability projects helping to turn round the lives of people who the government agencies could not help.  We also have general fitness programmes and I personally was part of the first "Football Fans in Training Programme" during which I discovered I could still walk and in the process lost nearly three and a half stones!

The Community Trust is also having an impact on the football club and is heavily involved in the feasibility study to redevelop Cappielow.  Morton are my club and have been for the last sixty years or so helping them to be sustainable for the future is important to me and should also be to Inverclyde.  A community football club we can all take pride in is something to strive for.

So, at the tender age of 67, I am embarking on what may be quite a committment to essentially walk some 250km and I hope I can count on your support.
