Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page to support The Billy Riordan Memorial Trust, which provides a medical centre and health clinic in rural Malawi. Malawi is one of the poorest and least developed countries in the world, although it is also spectacularly beautiful. I was lucky enough to spend several weeks in Malawi in 1992, including some time in the exact area where the Billy Riordan Memorial Trust medical centre now is. This centre provides the only medical care to an area in which 15,000 people live. Infant mortality is high, about 12% of the population have HIV/AIDS and life expectancy is only 50. Please help me raise funds to help continue with this vital work.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
