Story

Every 15 minutes an elephant is lost to poachers, that is staggering 96 A DAY!    Rhinos, we loose one to poachers every 9 hours that is 150 A MONTH!   Poaching - This callus senseless action leaves orphaned traumatised infants to starve as they stand next to the butchered bodies of their mothers.  These beautiful majestic beasts have no voice & the practice of poaching is barbaric.  The clock is ticking & Extinct means FOREVER.

I did my 10K walk  - Saturday 28th June 2014 at Abbey Park Leicester to raise money, awareness & funds for The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust & raised an amazing £1325..................................... but I want to do more.   As a continuation of support for this charity I am now offering Hopi Candle treatments for a £10 donation to my page.

I hope if you are reading now, that you will take a few moments to view this charity, and the work this project does for the orphans left as a result of poaching.  I feel very strongly that  if we don't act we will have the shame of knowing we were the generation that let beautiful species become extinct, does that sound far fetched, well look into the facts and figures and you will be horrified to see it is a clear reality.

When I first saw a Rhino, I remember thinking, God must have made him after a session at the pub & the bong pipe!  Now when I look at them, I can see clearly that he just made them "Extra Special".  As for elephants, my first encounter was at the age of about 3 years old.  I thought that the baby elephant was my best friend snaffling me with it's trunk with vigour, however it stole my hard earned chocolate bar that I had won through being good, an item that wasn't achieved very often.  I screamed the elephant house down, so with such a beginning my relationship of elephants could only get better! LOL.
