Thanks to everyone who's donated. Even in hard times you've been unbelievably generous. We are already a quarter of the way towards getting to our target and the hospice is delighted. Thanks again. Nj

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I (and a group of friends Chris, Geraint, Paul, Gary and Tony) have talked a great deal over the years about doing something for others but never quite got round to it due to our busy shedules.  So, on the 21st April, rather than spending the weekend improving Bargain Booze's profits we are going to climb Ben Nevis in aid of the fantastic St. David's Hospice in Llandudno. This is a charity that is very close to Gary's heart as it continues provide exemplary care for his mother, Joyce (pictured).

The main objective of St David’s Hospice is to provide care for people suffering from progressive, life threatening illnesses. This care will be provided in a homely, relaxed atmosphere and it is intended to meet the patient’s physical, psychological, social and spiritual needs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

At the moment there are only 11 beds within the hospice and they enivsge room for an additional 3 beds in the near future. The approx cost of each bed is £4,000 therefore our goal is to raise enough money to buy them an additional bed so that they can care for someone else who desparately needs the support they provide.

Your support is extremely vaulable to us. The clinical running costs are currently £1.6 million each year with over 75% of which comes from fund-raising and voluntary donations.

We need at least £4,000 so please dig deep and donate now.

Organised by a third party to raise funds for St David's Hospice registered charity number 1038543.
