Story

Many thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For a number of years I have been inspired to hear about the work of The Dalitso Trust in Malawi, one of the very poorest countries in the world. The Dalitso Trust was started by some friends of mine and it exists to teach and equip rural Malawians so that they are empowered to lift themselves and each other out of poverty. I would love it if you could partner with me in this vital work by giving generously to help reach my fundraising goal. I will be running considerably further than I have run for 16 years, and knowing that with your support we can help make a sustainable difference in the lives of the wonderful people of rural Malawi, will certainly help to keep me going to the end!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

The Dalitso Trust has been successfully working in partnership with rural villages in Malawi since 2002. Our focus is on changing lives through development in a sustainable way. We believe change comes through investing ourselves in others, one person at a time. We do this in 3 main ways; Dalitso Health: working with families to create healthy villages Dalitso Leaders: mentoring and equipping local leaders Dalitso Play: pioneering educational play and parenting skills
