Fundraising for MOVE
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Myself and Ann both secured a place in the Prudential Ride London 100 mile bike ride this year and have decided to raise money for MOVE charity!
As most of you will know MOVE is a charity very close to our hearts and founded by our daughter Gemma after facing a tough journey with cancer. Both during and after treatment Gemma recognized that physical activity and exercise played a very important part in her journey with cancer and in her recovery from chemotherapy! She also recognized the lack of support and guidance given to children and young people to help get their lives back on track both physically and psychologically both during and after treatment.
MOVE is now a registered charity and works with children and young people who have been diagnosed with cancer to provide individual 1:1 exercise programmes, and healthy lifestyle advice and support.
We want to raise vital funds to ensure that the MOVE physical activity programmes can be delivered year on year and that MOVE can continue to support children and young people going through cancer!
