A group of us is going to be sweating it out for 2 hours, non-stop on Saturday 21 May to raise as much money as we can for The Cobalt Unit. This medical charity helps people affected by cancer, dementia and other life-limiting conditions. Founded in 1964, The Unit treats over 50,000 patients a year, providing cutting edge diagnostic imaging at the Cobalt Imaging Centre in Cheltenham. The Unit's mobile MRI scanners serve all three counties - Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. 

The Cobalt Unit has the UK's first high field MRI and a fleet of six mobile MRIs. A state-of-the-art PET/CT scanner is available and has been specially designed to improve patient comfort, reduce scanning times and provide exceptional image quality.

We want to do our bit to ensure that people in need of medical services from the Cobalt Unit can continue to access them in the future.
