We support children on landfill sites to improve futures through aid & education

Story

Abigail, Joey and Jessica are participating in the incredible challenge of No Shoes November. This means going about our daily life, going to uni, riding bikes, maybe even socialising in public places, and any other place we dare to go barefoot from the beginning to end of the lovely cold and rainy month of November.

We are fundraising for an inspirational charity called the Small Steps Project. We chose this charity because it is UK based and doesn't get a lot of publicity, yet they do amazing work all over the world. - "We deliver shoes, hygiene kits and emergency aid to protect children in the dump environment, followed by sustainable solutions to enable children to take smalls steps off rubbish dumps and into education." - Read more on their website at http://www.smallstepsproject.org/

Abigail, Joey and Jessica are asking you, kind human, to help us raise funds for those less fortunate than us, spread the word of this challenge, and maybe even join us!

One small snag is that some of us will have to wear those treacherous shoes for work or sport, this involves arriving barefoot, applying shoe, going about our shoe-y business for a couple of hours a week if needed, and removing shoe once finished. Hopefully you can forgive us!

All our barefoot love,
Abigail, Joey and Jessica
