Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit Linda's Legacy.
Linda was a fit and active person right up to the time she was diagnosed with Malignant Melanoma in December 2011. In January 2012 she had an operation to remove tumours. This operation gave her another 10 months of life. Linda knew her illness was terminal but got on with living her life as best as she could.
During Linda's illness the St Elizabeth Hospice helped her tremendously with managing pain and supporting me to help her. Linda really appreciated the help that the hospice gave her and when i suggested raising money for the hospice she thought it was a great way to repay all the help they had given her.
The aim is to raise £25000 for the charity, this is roughly the cost to run the hospice for ONE day! I am hoping that lots of Linda's friends and relatives will put on events to help us reach this target. One of the big events will be a fundraising trek to Nepal in October to remember Linda on her birthday. Linda loved Nepal and the people even more.
Thank you so much for helping us to reach £25,000 for Linda's Legacy.
