Story
In memory of our great friend Norrie Malloy, who was taken too soon at just 41, we are joining forces with Mary's Meals to build a kitchen in Malawi in his name and plan to continue to fundraise to provide food for Norrie's Kitchen to feed Malawian schoolchildren every day.
Norrie Malloy was a great son, brother, father and friend to many. He was also a great chef, and fed thousands of people every week at The Mint in Coatbridge. Cooking was Norrie's great passion in life and it is fitting that his legacy be a kitchen which will feed some of the most needy children in the world for many years to come.
Mary’s Meals provides daily meals to chronically hungry children in a place of learning. In this way the hungry child is attracted to the classroom where they can gain a better future for themselves and their community.
We plan to carry out various fundraising efforts over the coming months and years to raise money for Norrie's Kitchen and invite others to do so to.
Please join with us to make sure that Norrie Malloy's memory lives on in this way. Any donations to Norrie's Kitchen will be much appreciated.
