Many of you will know that we have a very special grandson, Zac who has Down's Syndrome and other related health challenges that make it harder for him to do the basic things like walk and talk.

Having a child with special needs is a huge emotional and financial strain on families and unfortunately the N.H.S. hasn't sufficient resources to adequately support  children like Zac.

Down's South London (DSL) is a parent run charity which provides physiotherapy, occupational and speech therapy to children like Zac which would otherwise be unavailable. Joining DSL has enabled Zac's parents to feel more positive about his problems and his future.

We own a delightful cottage in the New Forest and we ask all those staying in the cottage to donate their rent to Down's South London through this site or directly to the charity.

The cottage is well maintained throughout and can sleep 5 people + a baby in 2 bedrooms (1 with a double bed, the other with bunk beds with a trundle bed underneath). The bunk beds are adult sized single beds.

Downstairs, the front door leads directly into the living room with sofa, chairs, t.v. & wood burning stove. At the other end is a dining table & chairs. At the back of the cottage is a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom.

Outside is a patio with table & chairs. The cottage opens directly onto the forest where animals are free to roam.
