This year we are raising funds in aid of “Coco’s Foundation”.  This is a local charity which is committed to improving the lives of orphans in South Africa.  There are no state orphanages in South Africa.  Coco’s has already made a phenomenal impact with its projects, for example the building of an orphanage, houses, village hall and reservoir.  .  All the orphans have HIV as a result of being abused and raped.  However many of the orphans are unable to go to school because they are looking after their younger siblings.  Therefore we have pledged to support them them so that they can build a crèche this October.
