Each 1:1 counselling session provided by the lowdown, gives life changing or even life saving support to a child or young person (aged 12-25), who may be in crisis due to mental health issues or other reasons affecting their lives.

At any one time, a young person in Northamptonshire is experiencing a devastating personal crisis.  The lowdown’s team of dedicated volunteers are there to ensure they don’t face this alone, by being there when needed, to guide them through their difficulties.  Your support now will help uscontinue to change and save the lives of many 12-25 year olds and help to prevent crises such as teenage pregnancy, drug & alcohol dependency, self harming, stress & anxiety, depression and even suicide....... It is our belief, that young person should not experience mental or physical ill health unsupported.
