Many of us in our OS Wales & West field teams enjoy walking, running & cycling in the mountains & countryside of our glorious countries. Whilst out & about we know we can always call upon mountain rescue if we should get into difficulty, or dare I say it get lost! One of our team is a member of Longtown MRT & when we heard they were trying to raise funds for a new control vehicle we thought it was a cause we could not ignore!

Our aim is to have a team of surveyors on each of our 3 peaks summits of Snowdon, Cadair Idris & Pen Y Fan, simultaneously. We will try & establish a 3 way phone call connecting the 3 peaks together.
