Oxford Wheels of Gory are taking part in the epic South Coast Roll on 29th May 2016 and skating round and round and round (and round!) an outdoor track to raise money for our chosen charity, the Oxfordshire Sexual Abuse & Rape Crisis Centre (OSARCC).

Some of our team mates will be skating a whole marathon (think of their poor feet!) and some will be aiming for lap or two. Either option - and everything in between - will be an amazing achievement and will count towards the total team target of 300 miles.

1 in 5 women have experienced sexual violence of some kind and 25% of women will experience domestic violence over the course of the lifetime. Abuse can happen to anyone, regardless of ethnicity, age, class,religion, sexuality, gender, disability or lifestyle; and anyone can be
an abuser

The OSARCC offers vital services for women and girls who have been raped or have experienced other forms of sexual violence and abuse - whether as adults or children, recently or in the past. They are committed to supporting survivors who are dealing with the effects of sexual violence in their lives.
